We welcome families to enjoy a relaxing getaway at The Wayward Inn! As parents ourselves, we’ve designed the space with families in mind and are happy to provide a high chair, pack & play travel crib, umbrella stroller, kids' toys, and more upon request. Plus, The Wayward Inn is 1/2 block from a beach with a large playground, picnic tables, bathrooms, and an outdoor shower.
I REALLY enjoyed relaxing in the luxurious tub with a cup of tea. DREAMY! You are just a short walk to the beach and park. Chemainus is really cute and walkable with all the shops, bakeries and history to enjoy. It was nice to have [a] private patio to ourselves.Colleen

Our love for hosting travellers comes from finding joy in creating a soft landing place in a world that can often be hard. A charming stay at a gay-owned B&B in Bremen, Germany inspired us to open The Wayward Inn. We were drawn in by the warm welcome, beautiful gardens, and thoughtfully curated space. These are the qualities we strive to bring to guests’ experiences at the Wayward Inn. We live just upstairs and are nearby if you need anything.
